Good morning all, I am bit tired today

Here is my little noodle Kyra when she was about 4 months.
It is amazing how they develop their own little personalities
so quickly. This craft always reminds me this is why we do

CPS Anniversary

CPS has been celebrating and I wanted to get in at least one
card to say congrats! Even though I have not participated in
the making of cards I love the sketches and have been following
them for quite some time now. Just wanted to let you girls know
how wonderful you are and that you are a huge inspiration!

The Late # 20 Holiday Project

Ok, here I am again with a fairly better

computer now which is a major relief.

The computers we had been getting were

in serious need of some help or just

plain old. The one we managed to get now

is not the latest and greatest by all means

but it does get the job finally done

for me.

I never got around to getting 25 projects

done for Christmas, but I did manage 20

which I was pretty satisfied with. Here is

that project. A winter wonderland door

hanger.

Layering is still one of my all time favorite things to do
with all the little bits and pieces. It is a perfect way to
up the odds and ends leftovers. Fun as always!

On other news my favorite picture editing site will be
closing its internet doors in April so very heartbroken
over that. With all those out there who just can't afford
Adobe Photoshop it was really nice to have something
like that. Picnik, I will miss you greatly when you're
gone. If anyone else knows of anything else like this
over the web please let me know.

Another Computer Tower

Yep, we have gotten yet another computer tower which is far better than the other two we
have had. I am FINALLY able to watch my home videos and download correctly. Those
two things were driving me up the wall.

Layout Time!!!

Hello, Hello, Hello! I am back with a layout and card recently created. Every year
I tell myself and others that making new years resolutions I really won't do. Well, I
ended up creating a layout based on just that with my resolution tucked safely behind
my photo. It is something that I would like to keep to myself for now but I can assure
you that it is all positive and within reach.

The thank you card is one out of four I created for ING who blessed me and my
children this past Christmas season. They really went all out for us and I am so
grateful to them. THANK YOU!!!!

Day 18: Thrifty Holiday Vase

Whew.....
I had to slow down a bit and prepare for my family to come in tomorrow.
There are still plenty of project to be shown which I will post periodically.
In the mean while here is a SUPER easy and cheap project that only takes
about 10 minutes!!! I took an apple cider bottle, one dollar wrapping paper,
scrap ribbon, one dollar flowers, and put it all together like so. Keeping
it simple is what makes this one and I have two on display right now.

We have staying quite busy over here with these three little ones.
They have been so much fun but also very exhausting.
There is more to come later.....

Day 17: Holiday Headband

I am back with another catch up project. This was my first time ever decorating
a headband. I was going for a theatrical look that you would wear in a play. Don't
ask me why but that was vision in my head. Now to wear it.......

Day 16: Holiday Frame

Sunny Sunday today it was and that meant that I could take some decent photos
today. It was perfect weather out there so hubby and I decided to take a run to
Target where I found the most gorgeous rapping paper for just a dollar.
I couldn't wait to get back to use it in one of my project which I will be posting
later. This particular project consist of another random frame that was hanging
about. Dolling it up just a little made it a perfect fit for decor. So happy that it
didn't get thrown out....

Day 15: Gift Box

Tomorrow is Friday!!!! YAAAAAY! Whew....
this week has been very long but we have made through by the grace of God.
Here is a candle box that I altered and turned it into a gift box. I envisioned candy
or something to that effect. Right now I am just using for pretty Christmas decor.

I hope that everyone is having a great time in all the holiday madness. It is crazy
out there so please be careful. The kids go on winter break after tomorrow and
will be out until the 9th of January. Oh what fun.....LOL!

Day 14: A Thank You (Embellishment Blog Challenge)

Hi there again!!! So I decided to once again start involving myself in a few
challenges and chose this one as my first from Embellishment Magazine. Purple
is by far the most beautiful of colors which drove me to really get this one
done. Such a pretty color combo.

Day 12-13: Christmas Catch Up

What a week it has been so far and boy am I tired. Between a rainy Monday,
a doctors appt. that took all day Tuesday, and then school Christmas program
Wednesday it just kept me away but I am here now. :)
This first project I just had to try from Pink Paislee blog. It was just one of the
neatest things to date yet.

This second project is a simple card and apparently a huge fave of those who
have seen all of my cards.

You can rest assured that I am going to complete these 25 projects. It is not
that big of a task for the end of 2011. Keep cheering me on!!!

Day 11: A Mothers Christmas

Good Sunday evening to everyone. I spent most of the day hanging out
with my husband, working on a few projects, and preparing myself mentally
for my little ones return tomorrow.
Today's card is one I had in mind for my mother who will be visiting for
Christmas. I miss her beyond what words can describe. In this particular
card I wanted to place a certain warmth that my mother and all mothers
alike can only give.

Now I am trying patiently to wait for the day I can give it to her.
It will be soon God willing. :)

Day 10: 25th

Yes, I know it's not quite the 25th yet but looking forward to it none the less.
For this card I really layered it on until I got the look I was looking for. This took
a bit longer than I expected and had to come back to it several times. It finally
came together. YAAAAAY!

it is a real easy one but worth making.

Day 8-9: Two For Friday

Welcome back all! Yesterday I was out for the most part and when
I came back home I completely passed out. My little school bots have
parent teacher conferences all this week so that's means getting out
early as well. This week has been quite fun for the most part but exhausting.
There are two projects today to make for yesterday.

After making cards and different projects here and there I am really ready
for a layout now. I just might surprise you all with one. Be back tomorrow y'all...

Day 7: No Sew Pillow

Welcome to day 7! Yes, a whole week so I am very pleased with myself!

Today's project is a pillow made just by using glue. Glue gun works best

but if you don't have one like me than Fabri-tac is the next best thing. I made

this pillow using all felt as you can see by cutting out strips, cutting those

strips in half, and then gluing the ends together. The individual strips being

slightly overlapped with each other made these rows. The rest is just adding

or leaving to fit your own taste.

Again, super easy with great results!!!

Day 6: Candy Cane Vase

Here is today's idea or tip. Since we happen to be on an extremely tight budget
I look for out of the ordinary things to decorate that I already have.
Elliott and I received this gorgeous vase from his late brother as a wedding gift
and I wanted to add some holiday color to it. These candy canes were meant for
the stair way but I realized that they would be constant temptation for the kids.
Thus, the Candy Cane Vase was born. I had no idea that it would look this nice
until after hanging them all. Who knew?!

Day 5: A Break from the Traditional

Yes, instead of the greens, reds, golds, and whites I thought I would take a little
breather and share some different colors. I had purchased a few frames that were
on clearance but didn't want to use them for pictures so the end result was to
personalize them. First check out Elliott still in focus mode putting up decorations
for his sis.Secondly here is all of us about 4 months ago at a police fundraiser event.

After hanging these up Elliott sister came by and saw them along with a good
friend of the families. Now they both booked me to create a few for them!!!
FUN and I get paid for doing it!!!:)

Day 4: I'll Be Home

of a place I love,
even more than I usually do.......

Those are just a few lyrics of that very beautiful song in which I sang
my senior year of high school. I was in the concert chorus but at the time
the teacher wanted it to be a solo. At the end of singing it I had one
particular woman in the office in tears due to her late husband. It made
me feel really bad for singing it but she reassured me that it was the
most wonderful gift that she could get. It also made me realize the power
of good music and how it moves us. This card reminded me of that
story.

Day 2: Holiday Floral

WELCOME to day 2 everyone!!! I can't tell you how much this project was.
I actually found this one on the DIY DISH, http://www.thediydish.com/,
and couldn't wait to try it. Please I urge you to go check out these two ladies
who also happen to have the most gorgeous smiles and they are twins. Here
is my take on this project.

I had to use this one for my mini Christmas tablescape that I am working.
Today you all are lucky because you are getting three project ideas for
the price of one. LOL! I created those mini Christmas trees out of holiday
pipe cleaners and I had a couple of odd frames hanging about thus this
altered frame was born. :)
The floral ball was simply made with paper of your choice, a misc ball,
and either a hot glue gun or my pic was fabri-tac glue.

Let's Try This Again

Good morning to you all out there. As many of you know being creative is
in my blood and as such many ideas cram my head. In the past I have tried
to share as much as I could given the circumstances I was in. Now that I have
a peace about my home now for every day in December I am going to try
my best and share projects, ideas, tips, etc. I have several done already so
I think that I can do this. Be on the look out tomorrow for day one!!! :)

Just A Few Things

This was the day before Thanksgiving and boy was I tired. Elliott and I were getting
ready to head up to Cal City. We had a great time with his family.

We played dominos in which I can barely play. LOL! Elliott was focusing really hard.

I created a few cards for Elliott's oldest sister and his moms and step-dad.

Here are a few pics that I have been wanting share for quite some time.
I created most of all that is seen here for my wedding to Elliott.

The pillow was my favorite thing to make. I LOVE how it turned out. I call this the wedding
table. There are several other gifts that was given such as wedding glasses, a wedding bell,
and things of that nature. I can't really display them here due to a little angel with sticky
fingers named Kyra. There are so many other things to share but they have come bit by bit.
I do hope and pray that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. My mother and eldest sis
are heading out this way for Christmas so I am super happy about that. It is going to be a full
house because this year is my turn to have the kids for this particular holiday. I can't wait!

                                my husband as of six months ago. SURPRISE! It is enough to
                                probably make your heads spin. I know it was for me trying to
                                get my life back in order.
                                For the first time in a very long time I know that I am loved
                                because of this man. His heart is so wide open willing and ready
                                to connect with the world around him. He is always thinking of others
                                before himself in a way which never ceases to amaze me.
                                In his arms there is a fullness of joy and peace. There is no guessing,
                                no chaos, no confusion, no letting the sun go down in anger. My
                                being is at a steady with fluctuations that are expected in life with
                                him at my side. Elliott is as real as they come hiding no thing and
                                holding nothing back in love. He is true best friend in every since of
                               the word. I am blessed.

Not only are viruses among us humans going around but also computers. I had to hook internet up to my age old computer. Apparently the newer one we have won't start due to a computer bug. We are hoping to get another tower this weekend. Fingers crossed....

Winds of Change

                         I just took a deep exhale. It is quite difficult to remember where I left off.
                         The best way to go about this is just to take it slow.

                         For the few of those who have kept up with my blog I had severe problems
                         in home life. I had come out to California for a clean start hoping that these
                         problems might present solutions. I only found myself back around again in what
                         had always been. Circles. My heart was already hanging on by a thread which
                         did break. Whether I failed me, the marriage I was in, God, and the list could go
                         on I opted for a divorce. So much pain and guilt came flooding in do to this
                         one thing but it was critical for my sanity. The reasons and difficulties from the
                        other half I could go on and on about. What good would that do? It is done. I
                        am here now. Each day after has been a rediscovering of myself in which was
                         lost. A little bit more happiness is found in the things I had become blinded to.
                        I am no longer a prisoner of misery. The most important of all is that I still have
                        my heavenly Father God and his everlasting love to see me through.

A Trip to the Library

I don't often go to the library. In fact it is rare

that I even read a book of any kind except

when it comes to childrens book. With all

the complex things in the my world I love

the simplicity of a good childrens story. The

stories are even better when coupled with brillant

illustration. Here is a little treasure that I found.

                            I hope to be able to get a copy of my own for my little ones. Sitting
                            down to read this was such a breath of fresh air and visually inspiring.

Rediscovering

                                   Why hello, hello, hello there all. I know it has been some months
                                    since last you heard from little ole me. Yes, I am still among the
                                   living and my little ones are steady sprouting.

                                   There is a great deal of things to update you all on which I am sure
                                   in time we will catch up. I am FINALLY in school persuing Graphic
                                   Design in which I am learning Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
                                   What a great sigh of relief this is for me. I had only dreamed of
                                   being able to go back to school let alone for Graphic Design. My
                                   next venture is to complete learning Japanese. = )

                                   Life has thrown yet another curve ball in which I will be announcing
                                   sometime mid March. It is definately going to be a time of rediscovering
                                  myself in almost every detail of who I am. We shall see.

                                  Hope to be back soon...

The Little Ones

Yep, I know! Where have been continued. There is so much that is

going on this way not including all the activities

that will be going on for the kids.

Speaking of the little ones this here girl will no longer

stay on her back.

We officially now have an expert roller so that means keeping an extra close eye on her.

Kyra turned 6 months just recently. It has been

half a year already!!!!

As for these two....
they are learning and growing like weeds!!!
I have been promising a good healthy post which I assure
is coming.

Just a few things that I am working

on!

For the past couple of days

I had been watching knitting

tutorials on YouTube.

This is an art that I have

wanting to learn for quite

some time now.

Well, I was so desperate this time

around to try it that I

dug out some yarn,

fetched some skewers sticks,

and went to town! LOL!

This is so basic beginner

but I am happy that it

is turning out to look like

something.

Maybe a scarf...

This is my first time for knitting

as well so be gentle.

YES! I am drawing yet again! I LOVE this mans face!
You might also know him from Heros. I think his real
name is Zachery. Don't know his last name. They did
such an amazing job with the movie casting.

was a complete success!!!!!!!

You know how after the party you

have loads of cake left?!

Well there was absolutely NONE

of this cake left!!!

I was SO HAPPY the it

it turned out right. It was my FIRST

time ever baking and the cake

turned out so moist and yummy.

Everyone couldn't believe that it was

my first time.

b-day party. I worked most of the

time so still not many pics were

taken but I am satisfied with what

I did manage to capture.

1-2-3-4 cake by Paula Dean.

Guess What I Am Doing Right Now?!

Cooking, cooking, and finishing up some crafty things for
the party tomorrow. I am baking from scratch for the first time
and will let you know how that venture turns out. EEEKKKKK!!!
LOL! I might even throw in a picture weather success or
failure....

Since preggy sick days are behind me from last year I
will be able to take pictures of my own. A friend was
kind enough to this for me when I was sick last year
but then her computer crashed! Lost everything including
pictures of the party. I have a few still waiting to be edited
so I will post those along with this years.

I kept it real simple this year. There is so much on my plate
and to be quite honest it is not worth all the stress. In the
end, the children pretty much just want to spend some
good- ole- time with family and friends.

This weekend I became so caught up into just taking a breather for myself.

The weather was nice so I sat outside with Kyra and just enjoyed the warth

ot the sun. Blogging was set aside and actually did some scrapbooking to

ease my mind a bit. Sometimes you just scream inside for some time to your-

self. This weekend was one of those times. Here are a few more pics of

the picnic that was held on the 18th.

                                I am watching time just pass me by when it comes to my kids. They
                                are getting so big so fast. Since Kyra is my last I am trying very hard
                                to take in as much baby time as possible and not take her for granted.
                                Leilani is just a little princess and knows it and Jadon is definitely one
                                of those where the wild thing are type of boy. I am planning a small
                                birthday party for the both of them since their birthdays are in the
                                same month. This years theme to kick off the fall is Indians!!! I am
                                going to be putting together craft activities to make feather head bands,
                                arrows, and maybe paper bag vest. Will have to see.

I am back with this Fridays Good Find!
Todays find had me thinking about how not to long ago
Companies made things to really last. They were
quality products and required very little maintaining.

I bought a tripod a little while back and one of the handles
broke off due to my son knocking it down by accident.
CHEAP was my first thought.
The thought was comfirmed when I found these!

They are older versoins of tripods but boy are these things

heavy and sturdy!!! Everything just about on these bad boys

are metal. You can knock them down and they would bounce

right back up again. LOL! I consider them to be an

excellent good find!

I hear sleep calling my name. =)

I haven't been perfect but I have been pretty good.
My kids are off to school, I am working on starting
school, and baby Kyra is blossoming into such a rare
beautiful flower. There is always something to do
so I find myself keeping busy enough not to focus on
them being gone. SIGH...

So I know that I have missed the last two days of posting
but for good reason. Jadon and now Leilani will be away
from home now growing up. Coming into this world with
a great big hello only preparing them eventually to say
goodbye is so bittersweet. Jadon will be starting first grade
and Leilani will be starting her early learning adventure
all on Monday. Their birthdays are coming up as well. I just
can't believe that they will be 6 and 4!!! SIGH!!!

I am thinking about doing this every Friday(fingers crossed)
where I post Good Finds. By good finds I mean it right down
to the exact meaning. They will not be items bought! We are
blessed to have a donation center here and it is kind of like
going thrifting. I have gotten a great deal of FANTASTIC items
in every catorgory you can think of so I would like to share
my good finds with you!

This is the purse that I switched to yesterday. I am a HUGE
fan of belts and wish this monster of a buckle was on one!!!!!
I am by no means addicted to shoes. If I find a couple of good pairs
I wear them down to the bare bone. Seriously! These are a few
that I have come across. The middle pair I am sending to my mother.
They are 9 1/2 which are way too big for me. I thought of her when
I saw them.

This is an altered pic of a cute can that I found. LOL! I turned it
into a poster! I will post what the can really looks like a little
later.

Like I mentioned, I am a HUGE fan of belts!!!

This is definitely something that I think that I can keep up

with. Inspired by Mondays are still in mind but baby Kyra

takes up so much time and naturally she comes first.

The Cutting Edge

Me: Is it ok to take pictures of certain aspects of the class?

Dietician: I suppose so if you would like!

Me: I know, I'm strange...

Dietician: No, but no one has ever ask that before!

Me: Really?!

Dietician: Really!

So I am taking this 6 week class where we meet every Tuesday.
It is a privately funded program which means I don't have to
pay for it. What a blessing! I have been health conscious for a
while but fell back on a few things so this program is perfect to
get me back on track. It is also a win win situation because it
can be passed down to my kiddos. Here are just a few things that
I learned tonight.

1. Only 8% of cancers are due to genetics.
2. 4/10 Americans will have some sort of cronic illness in life.
3. It takes the brain 20 minutes to tell the body that it is full.
4. Vegetarians have an extra 10 year life span.
5. Dark soda, except for root beer, strips the body of calcium.

Yea, those are just a few fun facts if you want to call it that. Some-
thing that I have heard time after time again is that a simple
change in diet can result in the prevention/reversal of a number
of ailments.

Our assignment was to set five S.M.A.R.T. goals and to pick
one that we struggle with the most to work on.

M. Measurable
A. Attainable
R. Realistic
T. Timeline

Drinking enough water has always been tough for me so my
goal is right now is to start working on drinking four 8 oz. glasses
of water per day. I can do this!!! LOL!
It feels as though I have given a mini class of my own. LOL!
Anywho, must be going now. I hear sleep calling.

Circus Vargas In a Blur

I know, I have missed a couple of days but overall I think
that I am doing pretty good so far for the month. Saturday
we got a chance to go see Circus Vargas. It was pretty
cool and I can't believe that I took over 100 pics just on
one event. For the most part they all came out blurry
but I used them as an opportunity to get a little bit more
artsy. I just can't bare the thought of deleting them just
for that simple fact. Blurry can be beautiful too!

My anemia attack right now only allowed me to edit just a few but

I assure you that I will be back with more. The iron I can fell is starting

to get back into my system.

Circus and A Bad Headache

So today was pretty much spent when we got back from this.

The kids LOVED it and I could tell it right up Leilanis alley especially.

She is the little dare devil of our bunch. During and after the show

I had to keep an extra eye open because she had this certain interest

in climbing things! Can you say dangerous!!! She got over it but I know

it is in her blood. Performing arts is definitely up the road for her

career choice. I will be sharing pics a little later.

I have a HUGE headache now due to me taking a nap and now not

being able to sleep even though extremely exhausted. For anyone

who knows me naps and I don't play well.

This posting everyday thing is proving to be challenging for me but

at the same time fun. It helps me defragment my brain for the day.

LOL! I am off now to try and catch a few zzzzzzs.

Slight Upgrade

SURPRISE!!! You thought I forgot didn't you. He, he, he.
For the first time in a long time I had to be out all day running
errands and such. I had to get my cell number changed so
in order to do that I had to go in person. It was all in the
name of security, security, security. In the mist of getting
a new number Metro PCS had a fantastic little sale going on
which resulted in a new phone. As you can see it was needed.

Nothing SUPER fancy but just a little bit more. I did my first
ever internet post from this phone today which made me feel
all high-tech. LOL! I promise you though that it won't be taking
over my life any time soon.

I guess it is going to be a double post for me today since it is
officially a new day although in my world a new day is when
I see the sun coming up.

Catching Up!

I have lots of catching up to do here. We were sick over here but
nothing too severe. It was enough to keep from being here though.
Things are getting back to normal now and we are preparing for
Jadons return back to school. Leilani will be starting daycare/early
learning here on the 7th hopefully. Both are SUPER excited and
so is mommy! LOL!!! As of late here is what my son is into.

We are talking about the 1985 version old school Macross. You know
the kind of animation where their lips move the same no matter what
it is that they say old school. LOL! It is cool though because it is clean!
Some of the cartoons that they have out today I wouldn't dare let the
kids watch.

I have tons of project pics to catch up on as well. Lots of finishing up,

Back In Business and Grateful

Today I sigh a sigh of relief. I have been without my
camera for about three weeks due to the battery
charger being totally shot. I searched and searched
and finally found one at Radio Shack and it was on
sale! Can you say YIPEEEEE!!! Yea, I'm a nerd......

I figured the first pic that I would take is of me two
and a half months after having Kyra. I am pretty much
back to my normal size except for a little hidden belly
still. It felt as though I would never be the same again
after having the c-section and in a way I won't be. I
will definitely be appreciating the ability to just move
around a great deal more due that experience!

There are tons of projects that I have to get pics of,

edit, then post so stay tuned!!!

Well, I had planned on posting this last weekend which turned into

this weekend. LOL!!! Things have been so crazy. There is just something

A Little Somethin Funny

LOL!!! A few Sundays ago I brought my camera to church

and my sis decided she wanted to do a random photo shoot.

She went around taking pics of the oddest things and her

ipod happen to be one of them. The first pic she took of it

reminded me of that Geico commercial with the bunch of

money. So I told her and she laughed because she saw it

too!!! She set it up again to look almost exactly like it. With

a little bit of editing on my part this is the end result. We

make a great team hugh! LOL!!! I think that I just might

print this and hang it as a mini poster!

Hi there everyone! I hope that you had a great week-
end. With it being Monday all over again and the start
of a new work week it's never a bad thing to have an
office party!!!!

Let me tell you that Noel Mignon Kits are PACKED
FULL of creative goodness so you don't want to miss
out. The kits go amazingly fast!

So I have finally stop counting the weeks. LOL!!!
I think it was a phase to help get me through the
six week recovery process. I drove again on Friday
and it felt a little weird. I guess it goes back to the
once you learn how to ride a bike thing. The same
goes for driving.

When Will She Stop Counting?!

So we are a little over 5 weeks now and I have my six
week appt. tomorrow. Hopefully they tell me that I can
drive again. Getting out and about again is on the brain!
Little Kyra is coming along GREAT and is playing a
little bit more everyday. It tickles me so to watch her.
We started tummy time with her in which she doesn't
care for that much and starts to cry almost as soon
as she's put on her stomach. Here she is!

Here is my complete crew!!! They have been in the sun a LOT

and have this beautiful tan to their skin. LOVE this complexion!

Kyra has some catching up to do as she grows. LOL!

We have an Independence Challenge going on over at

I went all stripes and stars on this one. LOL! Seriously,

we tend not to think about how blessed we are with

the many freedoms that we have. I tend to ponder a

a lot and think about such heartache that is going on

around the world. I wonder why I was born in the USA

and not in a third world country where they live in

fear and poverty. When I get in a mode of complaining

these are a few of the thoughts that brings everything

into perspective for me again. I am truely grateful to

be free and that is something worth celebrating everyday!

1 Month as of Yesterday!

I find it so amazing how fast they catch on to things! Kyra is

doing the little sounds to communicate and smiles quite

often. I can't get enough of her cute little face! She is gasy

though at night and I can't figure out for the life of me what

I am eating to give it to her. She swallows a bit of air before

getting milk. Maybe that is the problem. She has a check-

up on Thursday just to see how she is doing with weight

gain. It is a guessing game constantly with me when nursing.

You always wonder if the baby is getting is enough. Her

weight gain has been perfect so far.

Busy, busy, and busy with baby n two other little ones!
That is all I can say for my MIA status and in my spare
time it's filled with doing projects to relax me.

Lani has picked up this late habit at the age of three of
putting things in her mouth. Well, 12:30Tuesday morning
she comes out of her room complaining that she
swallowed a penny!!! She would not reall sleep because
she said her belly was hurting. I was already very exhausted
but decided to call the 24 hour nurse line. Better safe
than sorry right! It is a good thing I did because after
going through the hassle of getting Vince up to take her
to the ER they said it was not moving. He was there from
about 1:00 am to about 3:00 pm. Can you say WOW!!!
They were trying to wait to see whether or not it would
move but it would not budge. Finally little Lani walked
back through the door with a penny in a biohazard bag,
lovely pictures to go with the penny, and her same old
spunky personality back. Relief!

NOW we have a bad leak in the restroom!!! That story
coming soon...

Over A Week

It has been a little over a week now and boy am I exhausted.
Trying to heal from the c-section, taking care of Kyra, taking
care Lani while taking care of Kyra, and did I mention trying
to heal. LOL! That is a constant stress for me right now. I try
to walk as much as possible when my feet don't look like two
balloons! Anyhow I have some goodies to cheer me up while
having to stay still most of the time.

Inspire By Monday!!!

Hi there!!! As promised I am here with the first official
Inspired by Monday! This will be brought to you bi-weekly
just for added inspiration here. I was at Target not too
long ago and spotted these adorable bibs and had to buy
them. The owl craze was one of my fave and still is and
I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw them.
Also lately I have hooked on looking at wall hangings so
I put the two together!

Here is what I came up with!!!

I used a lot of scrap paper to make the owls! Very pretty scrap paper

just waiting to be worked with. Since baby is still on the

brain naturally I had to create something for Kyria. She

won't have her own room just yet but I have set aside a

cozy little space just for her things. There is a perfect little

spot to hand this!

Still Here!

I assure you that I am still here. Sorry that there are gaps right now in my posting.
For the most part I have been resting and working on projects. I have also been
back and forth to the last of my appts. I have some sneaks peaks coming up of
current creations I am working on and hope to finish by the end of this weekend.
It is only now that it is starting to sink in slowly that another life will be here in
little over a week!!! If I try to describe the way that I feel it is pretty much everything.
I feel a mix of everything. People tend to think that if you have already had children
that the new baby jitters tends to cease but it really doesn't. I am just as nervous
as I was the first time around.

I am off to band practice now. Yes, I still go to keep my voice up and just to get out
and get some air. LOL!

LOVE with Picnik. It is by far the coolest online tool for

editing photos among other things.

Ok, so I have this little idea to do a small post maybe every

other Monday called Inspired By. This is where I will post

pretty much any one thing that I have come across that has

inspired me in some way. Usually when this happens I end

up creating something from that particular thing. So I

thought why not post them as a challenge or just for fun sort-

of thing.
I will be starting this next Monday and already have a

project almost finished for it. It is going to be a really neat

thing for me to be doing and I hope to inspire all of you with

it.

Well, yet again I have come to the end of my post for the day.

I just finished eating and have to go try to do some very light

cleaning and rest a little bit.

Hybernation

Hey there gang! I have finally caught up with most
of my links! All that copying then pasting kinda gives
a brain freeze.
I have been sleeping a whole lot lately. My body
mentally is probably trying to prepare itself for the
lack of sleep to come which is by far the WORST!!!
I have also been nesting and it is really driving me
up the wall because there is a 5 and 3 year old about
so keeping everything tidy/perfect is just not going
to happen. So I have decided that it is much more
productive doing this....

preparing for baby Kyria!!!

Speaking of motherhood I hope everyone enjoyed their mothers

day!!! They had a nice little lunch for the mothers at church and

afterwards we just came back home and I crashed.

These are just a few of many creations that I am working

on! Since it is painful to be mobile for the most part I get

to play a lot!!! No complaining about that here except wanting

everything in its place and not being able to make it happen

due to the pain. *SIGH*

You win some and you lose some.

I am off to eat, create, and rest some more. See you all real

things ready for myself and little Kyria who is due at
the end of the month. I think she may be a tad bit
on the early side though. Tomorrow I will be working

NSD and Daily Matters...

I am back again with a few things on my mind like
being ready to have Kyria. Can you tell in this
photo? My face looks so chunky to me. Grin..........

Here is my 8 month big bump! I can barely put my
my socks on, stand, walk, breath, etc. LOL!
Everyone keeps telling me that I am not going to
make it and like I said, I believe every word of it!!!

This shower gift made me want to cry seriously!!! I only
really wanted the spray which would have made me
extremely happy but when I opened the bag and saw
the complete set I was overwhelmed. Thank you just
doesn't cut it but THANK YOU ELLIOT!!! Now all I have
to do is make a trip to Canada somewhere to get my hands
on a scent that used to be sold here in the US Seasplash
by Naturistic. Are you familiar?

Here is one of the blankets that was made for baby Kyria!
A friend at church Jamie made a small one and then one
a bit larger of the same colors. Absolutely gorgeous colors!

Sunday Evening

1. I could not find my old charger adapter ANYWHERE

so I had to go and buy a universal adapter which is

pretty cool. It is just one of those bitter sweet things.

You lose something only to gain something better at

a price that is.

2. We had the baby shower today and it turned out

pretty good. I am very thankful for such great people

to help out on this last baby venture. I HAVE to show

u all later what my sweet friend Elliot (from the band)

bought just for mommy later. Also several of the

ladies knitted or crocheted these GORGEOUS

baby blankets!!! I have take pics of those as well.

Today in LA...

Good morning. Today in LA it is a little cold and cloudy right

about now which makes it difficult to mentally wake up. I

actually LOVE days like this.

I was browsing some of my fave blogs and came across a

question that I thought might give a little bit more insight on

getting to know me.

If you really knew me well you would know..............................

my greatest fear is going blind!

It is very true! With having an awareness of art and how

much it means to me to see everything around me

it truely is a gift. I may not have perfect vision but the

vision that I do have and am extremely grateful for and

it is one thing I don't complain about.

Well, that is my little thought for today!

Now to go give the kiddies a shower.
