Jennifer Priest (owner) is such a dear to create for.

I told her she is stuck with me for life. LOL!!!

New Butterfly

Afternoon everyone!

Well my attempt to blog for a straight month went

straight out the door. LOL!

At least I did a week and that makes me feel a little

bit better.

Today will consist of school, finishing up a few DT project,

preparing to head out to Vegas, and hopefully some good rest.

I meant to share earlier about the new necklace that

hubby insisted on getting me.

He wanted me to have a new butterfly so for Christmas that

was one of the wonderful gifts that I received.

What a care bear.

Very excited about seeing my family I am as well as the kids.
My camera will get lots of use over the weekend.
I so wish that I could have made it to CHA though. I
thought for sure I would make it this year.
So to everyone who is attending have enough fun for me!!!

Tonight

Tonight as I slowly crept upstairs right there behind

me trailed a little nutmeg with pacifier and blanky in hand.

As I lay down she pondered the idea for a brief moment and

then she too managed a wobbled climb and lay right beside me.

She fiddled around with a section of blanket playfully tossing to and fro

for a bit and then sudden silence.

I knew she'd fell fast asleep.

In the back drop I hear the voice of

two older ones quarrel with one another as one comes stomping

upstairs mouth full of insults of himself.

I call to him very firmly to stop such foolish talk.

He walks away still with a few words to mutter to

himself.

Little miss lady is not far behind him and as all children

have their way of convincing one another he convinces her to stay.

A gentle bribe.

They are soon at play in unity writing get well

letters to their father and such with a little prayer at the end.

I smile to myself.

It is in these particular moments that I truly

feel the joy of being honored to be a mother.

Through such chaos of the day the

night brings such subtleties as this.

Buried All Day.....

Ask me where I was all day and I will tell you in a creating zone. I just had to get away today just to create.
Palmdale didn't happen so hubby and just hung out all weekend.
Tomorrow is back to school day so have to get back to normal schedule. That means not staying up to the wee hours of the morning.
Well, it's time to say good night so...
